Welcome back to my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide blog series as we count down to one of the most romantic days of the year! I find pink toned wines and champagnes to be a perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your loved one. Althought I have only very recently started trying them- red wines, white wines, and champagnes on average each serve their own purpose pairing well with steaks, lobsters, and New Year’s Eve! But the romantic color of Rose really suits this occasion to me. For this post I specially requested help from a friend of mine who not only has experience in the industry but also is a connoisseur himself! Prices for these range from $19 to $70 so there’s a little something to suit everyone’s budget
Voted the king of Rose, Moet is on the top of this list. Regarded to be one of the classiest and luxurious brands if you are looking to give a fine option go with Moet Rose Imperial and Moet Rose Nectar Imperial. I personally would go with Nectar Imperial for a female recipient and Rose Imperial for male. If you are looking to give a bottle of Rose in another top rated champagne or wine here we have Veuve Clicquot Rose and Menage a Trois Rose. I have never tried either but I personally love the flirtatious name, look and feel of Menage a Trois!
Now I wouldn’t label these Sutter Home wines as rose but the color is consistent with our romantic theme. In addition the flavor remains on the fruity, feminine side along with an amazingly affordable price point! I’ve pulled the descriptions from Sutter Home’s main page to make understanding the difference between White Zinfandel and Pink Moscato.
Thats all for today’s post! Although I am partial to rose myself, any type of wine or champagne is suitable for this occasion really- it all depends on personal preferance. I hope this post is helpful to you all, until next time! Love, Rima
In honor of my favorite holiday of all time- Valentine’s DayI will write a blog a day to countdown with gift ideas at the best price points! Tonight’s highlight will be Aerie.
This website offers 40% off in honor of Valentine’s Day with free shipping and free returns if you order online. The combination of design and quality in this line is comparable to Victoria’s Secret. I advise most guys who are confused on a specific item to give their loves ones to give a few small items and combine them into one bag and a set from this website is definitely suitable for the occasion.
I bought all of these pieces on my trip home and forgot the shop names. Apart of Kohl’s they are just small local clothing boutiques so I’m positive you can grab similar pieces at your local Forever 21 and Charlotte Rousse type stores.
What do I love for spring? Floral prints, pastels and sheer fabrics! I love clothing that is cheery. Spring is my favorite season for fashion because I’m not a fan of summer neons and dark winter lips.

I find a nice compliment to rose gold jewelry is the color maroon. Here we have a maroon Balenciaga bag paired with maroon jeans and a chunky cream sweater. Topped with a beige Tory Burch scarf to add warmth and we have a cozy and comfortable winter outfit ready to pair with your rose gold boyfriend watch. This post was created to inspire ways to style Her Vanity Affair‘s Rose Gold Boyfriend Watch paired with the Soft Rose Gold Femme Edge Bracelet. Happy Holidays Ladies!
The print and color combination of this scarf is the reason why I love it so much.
My signature rose gold watch paired with a blue and gold stud cuff bracelet to pull out the hints of blue in my scarf.
I paired my scarf with a long nude cardigan. The pucker pockets and long row of buttons are my favorite details. I wear cardigans with everything in fall.
My best friend gave me this Longchamp bag in the shade Duck Blue. This is the only bag I use for school because it literally holds everything.
I find these high riding boots by Steve Madden to work as a great neutral piece. I love the rich brown leather’s color with the bronze hardware zipper to be perfect and most appropriate for fall. The perfect compliment to my bag right?
This current fall season I hope to invest in many chunky knit scarves to wear with cozy cardigans in all different shades. The idea of being surrounded by thick knit keeping my face warm in the fall rain is just so wonderful. Not to mention how perfectly they transition into winter. Layering for fall is one of my favorite things to do and this season I want to use chunky scarves as my statement piece for the colder days. I envision myself wearing simple clothing with a bright knitted scarf and a stack of bracelets on one wrist and not a thing more.
Recently I went to Bangladesh on vacation and picked up on the latest salwar kameez trend. The long A-Line kameez with long sleeves are all the rage and will be into 2013. From lengths that go from mid calf, ankle length, to even the tops of your feet this design is a real hit!
I feel as though this trend came from the direction of Pakistan. These styles were seen worn there before coming to India and Bangladesh. Another trend is long flowing sleeves to match the lengths of the salwar kameez. I find the draping of the sleeves adds an aura of elegance and grace to the entire look.
If your vertically challenged like myself and on the petite side this design will elongate your figure. If your already blessed with height then this will further compliment your shape. In addition to its unique shape embroidery is also very popular on this kameez. Stepping away from the sparkle of sequins and stepping into intricate detailing and design.
With Eid just around the corner these salwar kameez are perfect to wear for prayer as well if you are a Muslim. The fit can be worn tight or loose and both ways I find it to be very comfortable. Unlike the previous trends where the top of the kameez would be tight and the rest loose.
Let me know if you ladies would be interested in seeing some of my long A-Line salwar kameez pics from Bangladesh and I would love to post a few pictures!
